Louis Tomlinson 'SPLITS from model girlfriend after five years' (2025)

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has reportedly split from his model girlfriend Eleanor Calder.

The singer, 31, is said to have called time on his five-year relationship with Eleanor, 30, after distance 'put pressure' on their romance.

While the pair have reportedly parted ways, sources say a reunion in the future may not be off the cards due to their long history.

'It put pressure on their relationship, Louis being away for so long. Other things have gone down between them and for now, at least, they have split up,' a source told The Sun.

'They have mutual friends and a long history, so at the moment it doesn’t look like a reunion at some point is completely off the cards. But now they are not together.'

MailOnline has contacted Louis and Eleanor's representatives for comment.

Louis, who found fame as one fifth of One Direction, has been busy travelling the world and shows no signs of slowing down with his Faith In The Future world tour coming up later this year, which will see him travel across Europe and North America.

Eleanor and Louis have endured an on/off relationship from the early stages of his career in 2011, but announced their temporary split in March 2015.

During the couple's split, the Miss You hitmaker became a father to son Freddie Reign, six, after a brief fling with stylist Briana Jungwirth, 30.

Louis introduced son Freddie to fans on Instagram shortly after his birth, but has kept him out of the spotlight in recent times, while Briana has shared glimpses of him on Instagram.

Eleanor and Louis reunited in January 2017, shortly after the tragic death of his mother Johannah Deakin aged 43.

Back in 2020, the singer even spoke of his plans to marry the model after previously 'f***ing things up'.

Addressing engagement rumours at the time, he said: 'Yeah I saw some of that [engagement rumours]. It isn't true, but the luxury with Eleanor is I've known her since before our first single What Makes You Beautiful, so she's felt the whole growth of everything.'

Quizzed about marriage he added: 'One day, yeah, I'd imagine so. If you're asking me if I'm going to marry her? Yes, I think so! And more kids, I'd say so.'

Talking to The Sun, Louis admitted he has 'f***ed things up' plenty of times in the past but hopes to have learnt from his mistakes.

Louis said of his song Walls: 'It's a bit of, "Oh no, I've f***ed it up, yeah. But I've understood that now and I've come back stronger".

'You learn from your mistakes, and the song is about owning them, putting your hands up and saying 'I know what I did was wrong, but I understand it a bit better now'.
