PLANNING THE NEXT 24 HOURS:Skies will be mostly to partly sunny on Monday, with temperatures at least 15 degrees above normal in the upper 40s. A few areas will likely reach 50. Northwest winds will start to bring in colder temperatures Monday night, with lows dipping into the mid 20s.
EXTENDED FORECAST:After another mild Monday, temperatures will cool back down to slightly below normal levels Tuesday (Highs near 30). Temperatures will continue falling Wednesday, where highs will be in the lower 20s, and then fall a lot Thursday. Morning lows on Thursday will be only near 0 degreeswith wind chills as low as -10 to -15. Daytime highs on Thursday will only be in the lower teens, some only in the single digits, and wind chills may remain below zero through the entire day. Temperatures will then warm back up to near normal levels for next weekend. As far as precipitation, there are slight light snow shower chances on Wednesday, yet conditions will be mostly dry through Friday. There is increasing confidence in mixed rain and snow chances by next weekend.
